Constantly evolving its expertise, M Group tackles complex challenges to support clients in delivering vital projects. To reflect its dynamic and forward-thinking approach, they needed a website transformation that not only showcased their capabilities, but also provided a seamless, engaging user experience.

Challenge

M Group is simplifying how it refers to and presents itself, moving away from separate brand names and bringing together its £2.5bn portfolio under a single, unified identity: M Group. This bold new approach showcases how M Group is greater than the sum of its parts – a collective built to support the maintenance, renewal and reimagining of essential infrastructure across the UK and Ireland.

The existing website, however, did not reflect this transformation. It lacked the functionality, visual strength, and user experience required to effectively represent the Group’s expertise or scale. Navigation was unintuitive, content was difficult to access, and limited search performance reduced its impact. The challenge was to deliver a future-ready digital platform that aligned with the new brand direction – one that improved the user journey, enhanced content engagement, increased SEO visibility, and positioned M Group as a leader in essential infrastructure.

Discovery & UX Strategy

We conducted in-depth research to understand user needs across all five sectors and mapped out user journeys to streamline navigation and enhance accessibility.

Design & Development

We created a sleek, modern design that aligned with M Group’s new brand identity, and to help reinforce this, we built a fast, responsive, and scalable website with seamless functionality. We also integrated an intuitive content management system for easy updates – ensuring the content was always relevant, informative and up-to-date.

SEO & Content Optimisation

Within this, we also developed an SEO-driven content strategy to improve search rankings, which meant optimising content for engagement, ensuring clarity and impact – all to showcase M-Group’s category-wide expertise.

Quality Assurance & Launch

To get ready for launch, we left no stone unturned and conducted rigorous testing to ensure seamless performance across all devices – we also optimised mobile responsiveness to engage every user.
