The start of the journey.

We've taken a number of exciting journeys with VisitScotland over years. Including redesign and redevelopment of the main site, improving navigation and search functionality and also strategy projects for ConventionScotland, VisitScotland's Business Tourism Unit.

Where did Visit Scotland want to be?
VisitScotland wanted to increase visitor numbers to the site, improve the experience for users and increase the profile of their various online services and communications

How we got there together.
We created a series of tools that would create a more linked up strategy between VisitScotland and ConventionScotland.

A new Scottish venue search tool on the Convention Scotland site allowed access to contact details of venues throughout Scotland where they could search venues by locations, type or number of rooms.

An Explore Scotland widget on the homepage tied all of the site's campaigns and information together and offered a simple way for users to see the most relevant information.

This year we've been cross selling VisitScotland through a banner on ConventionScotland homepage, with stunning, alternating pictures of Scotland.
