Dog Digital Supports New Health Service for Scotland

Digital communications agency, Dog Digital has been working with the health information team at NHS24 to create a new, online health advice service for the people of Scotland - NHS inform.

The first phase of the service was officially launched on Tuesday August 3rd by Cabinet Secretary for Health and Wellbeing Nicola Sturgeon.

NHS inform will provide the public, patients and carers with essential health advice, online, over the phone and as the service evolves, face to face. The website brings together national and local health information from across the NHS and elsewhere.

The NHS inform site provides a multi-faceted approach to healthcare. The A-Z Health sections, live well zone, alcohol zones and will provide patients with health information. The NHS in your area and support service directory will allow patients to access local care and health advice. Behind the headlines section demystifies news stories regarding health issues.

NHS inform is hosted using Sitecore Content Management System technology, of which Dog Digital is an accredited partner. The site also features cutting-edge colour changing and text resizing capabilities that that will open up the site to NHS patients with impaired vision.
